I'm a cook!!

Leah found the apron and chef's hat and thought that it would be fun to wear it and help me cook. But, I had to wear my apron also (sorry - no photo of me!). She made homemade turkey burgers. Forming the patties was lots of fun for her - but she didn't understand why she had to keep washing her hands! And we made brownies.

New Rooms!

We decided this week to seperate Ryan and Leah into seperate bedrooms. They were goofing around too much and not going to sleep at night. So...Tuesday night we moved the desk and toys out and moved Ryan in. The kids are going right to sleep and liking their own space. Now they just need so pictures or something for their walls. They are quite white. Ryan has a Pokeman poster up (surprise surprise) but that is all for now. We will have to find some things. Leah wants stars which I think should be pretty easy to find.

My only delima was that in moving the computer, I did not have all the hook-ups that I needed. So, after a quick call to Sue, I found out that I could go and get a 25' extender cord which I picked up yesterday and now I am back on-line! :-)

I am a Winner!!

I actually won something!! Well "I" didn't, but I still got the prizes. I had a rep in town this weekend (Eric) who was taking me (and others) to the Packer game. He was coming up Saturday so we met to watch the Badgers play. They were doing a raffle for prizes and he won two Packer tickets and a custom made necklace. I got the necklace - it is very pretty. Now I just have to find something to wear it with. Then at the Packer game he won another raffle and won a BLACK Favre jersey which I also got! And as Black is my color it was perfect! I actually had a girl ask to buy it from me!

Lost Another One!

Ryan lost another front tooth today (with a little help from Grandpa!!) He now is missing three - the two top middle teeth and a bottom middle tooth. His tooth was loose so Grandpa thought that he should "help" Ryan pull it out.

One Week Finished

The kids have finished their first week of school. Overall it went pretty well. Leah only had class on Tuesday and Wednesday. The split the classes in half and half went Tue. & Wed. and the other half went Thur. & Fri. Now on Monday the entire class will be there. She enjoyed her first two days and made some new friends.

Ryan was happy to go back and see all his friends. Unfortunately he can tend to talk and goof around too much. He did get a note sent home on Thursday, but it should get better. He was goofing around with one of his friends when he was supposed to be reading.

That is about it with us.

School Has Started!!

Today was the first day of school for Ryan and Leah. Ryan was excited to go back and see all his friends again. Leah was a little nervous and brought her little puppy along for company. Things went well for both - when I picked them up Leah's first comment was "Mom - I made friends today!!" Which was awesome because she was a little nervous about that. They are excited for tomorrow and are ready to walk to school with their friends. I will drop them off at a friends house and then a group of them get together and walk. Their group is up to 7 this year with the addition of Leah and one of Ryan's friends sister who is also starting kindergarten this year, but is in a different classroom. Tomorrow should be a great 2nd day of school!! :-)
