Skiing & Snowboarding

I have been wanting to try snowboarding. So... a couple of weeks ago I went out with some friends. I did pretty well for my first time - I didn't fall too much.

Last weekend we all went skiing up in Northern Michigan. Here is Leah going down the hill. She goes fast but has really good controll. She did the half-pipe and blasted the second part of it. When she stopped all I heard was "That was awesome!!". She had a lot of fun and is skiing really well. Here is Ryan going over a little jump in the terraine park. He has really improved and can ski almost anything. He also had fun doing the half-pipe and going over some jumps. It is amazing how fast they learn and how little fear they have.

Last weekend Ryan had the blue and gold banquet for Boy Scouts. This year the theme was Chinese New Year. Here is a picture of him in front of the sign.

Last weekend Leah also had a "salon" birthday party for one of her friends. The girls had a lot of fun getting pampered.
