Barbie House

The kids were able to pick out a gift this year. Leah really wanted the big 3 ft barbie house. It is amazing to me how much she continues to play with them. She had a house that she had gotten a few years ago, but it was getting pretty beat up. We found this one on-line and saw that Toys R Us had it. I picked it up Sunday, but did not have time to set it up. Sue stopped by the house today and was happy to put it together for me. Unfortunately we found out that the house I got was used. It was partially put together and was missing some parts, etc. So I had to take it back and exchange it and I got to put it together. It wasn't so bad though and Leah was thrilled. It has a lamp that lights, the doorbell rings, there is a laundry chute, flushing toilet, working stove and washer. Lots of things to keep her busy.

Christmas 08

Here is a little catch up from the holidays. Between Christmas and New Years the kids and I went up to northern Michigan skiing. The weather was great except for the last day. It was cold with wind chills around 0. I could only ski about 2 runs and had to go in to warm up. We had a fun though and no major wipeouts.

Here is Leah ready to go.
Ryan skiing down the hill.

Here is Ryan and JoJo at Christmas. I think he liked the game Ryan was playing.

Leah was very proud of her olive penguins. They were putzy to make, but were very cute.

Here is the dress that Auntie Sue got her for Christmas. She was looking for this dress when they went shopping together one day. The Santa hat was the finishing touch.
