Boyscouts at the Brewer Game!

Monday we went to the Brewer game with the boyscouts. While we were all waiting to line up the sausages were walking around. Here is a photo of Leah and her friend Brenna with the new one.

Here I am with the number 3 sausage.

Here is Ryan with his Den on the big screen at Miller Park.
Here is Ryan with some of his Den walking thru Miller Park. All the scouts lined up and did a parade around the field.

They had a great time- and the Brewers won!

Fun Weekend!

It was nice for me to have my sister Sue visiting. We went to Summerfest a couple of days and had a fun time. We saw the "New Cars" along with some other bands. When Sue updates her blog you will get to see what other fun we had. :-)

Sunday was my company picnic at the zoo. It was pretty hot out, but still fun seeing all the animals. The kids enjoyed feeding the goats.
Sue thought that the Cows were pretty interesting - I guess she forgot what they looked like. Here I am with the kids on the big cow.
Sunday night Sue and Leah went to visit Grandma H. while Ryan and I went to my softball practice. After Friday's game we really needed the practice.

On Monday, my sister Stephanie, her hubby Ethan and Claire and Ave came over for dinner. Ryan and Ethan cooked up some of the fish that Ryan had caught when he was in Canada. It was an awesome dinner. Then they had fun playing football and running around outside. When they left Ryan had to put some apples (from our tree) under the tires to see if he could make "applesauce"! It was pretty cute.

Monday morning Ethan was very nice and got up and picked up Sue at 5AM to bring her to the airport.

Last night Ryan had a birthday party and Leah had gymnastics. Today things are finally slowing down a little - so I am getting caught up on all my blogging!

Batting practice at Miller Park!

Thursday morning Ryan got to got to go to Miller Park for batting practice. It was a pretty fun experience. He got to hang out in the dugout and wear a Brewers batting helmet. This is him in the dugout.
Ryan also go to go in the locker room and see everything there. I think that he was most impressed with the big TV. :-) Here he is in front of one of the lockers.
He got some good hits in!
And here he is with his Mom.
We also go a tour and saw all the party rooms and boxes, etc. Then we had lunch at TGI Fridays in the stadium. He had a great time!

Finally an Update!!

Well, it has been a busy couple of weeks. We started the Thursday before the 4th by going to the "Big Bang" fireworks at Summerfest. It was fun - just late and a bit chilly out. Leah actually fell asleep and didn't wake up to see any. :-) Maybe next year. The weekend before the 4th we went up to mom and dad's for the annual Gresham events. Ryan had fun with the fireworks - Uncle Joe puts on a pretty good show. Saturday we actually got to watch the parade - we did not have a float this year. The kids decided that they preferred to be in the parade - so it will be back to throwing out freezie pops next year. In the afternoon we went up to the park and the kids had fun with all the blowup things. Here is a photo of Ryan and his cousin Rugby on one of them.

Leah had fun going thru the maze and then up the wall.
Sunday morning we went to church with mom and dad. Here is a photo of Ryan and Leah outside of the church.
On the actual 4th we met mom and dad in Green Bay for dinner. Sue came in to town Monday afternoon and they wanted to visit with her also. We also went to a couple of parties at some friends house where they got to have a pig roast and another great fireworks show.
