Busy Busy!!

I thought that I would write and let you know what I have been up to. If you are checking on the blogs you can see that I still have some kinks to work out. It is a learning work in progress. Oh well, you learn a little every day.

I have been very busy with work. We remodeled our Appleton store from 52,000 feet to 102,000 feet. It is huge!! I was very involved in the product layout for the store. We had a lot of long days getting everything in and set up, but now the store looks awesome!! We start the grand opening today. If you have a chance to stop by you can sign up to win a car and get a free coffee mug (now you know what the Christmas logo gift will be!! haha).

The kids start school on Tuesday. They are pretty excited about it. Tomorrow we can stop by and they can meet their teacher and bring all their supplies in and get their desk area set up. It is nice to do this before school actually starts so they are a little familiar with everything.

Ryan is having fun with his e-mail. He likes to check it and will respond if you write to him. For those of you who have gotten e-mails from him - he does write them himself!! You might not see the humor, but he thinks that they are pretty funny. :-)

Lost a tooth

Ryan lost a tooth last night. He now has a big gap between his front teeth. It was getting pretty loose and he pulled it out. It was all bloody. He was pretty excited about that!! The tooth fairy came and gave him a dollar. He will probably buy more Pokemon cards. :-)

Bathtime!

Thougth that I would share this photo of Ryan in the tub all covered in bubbles!!

Haircuts for School

School starts in a week. Ryan will be in 2nd grade and Leah will be in kindergarten. So...it was time to get a hair cut! Ryan was not very excited about it, but he did manage to sweet talk the stylist into putting some gel in and spiking it up for him. Leah just had to get her's cut and didn't want to be left out of the fun. She was very excited because she got to tell her exactly what she wanted and I was not there to say anything. Then the stylist put in two reverse french braids. Leah loved it!

Dance Shows!!

Ryan and Leah love to dress up and play music and put on a "show". Sunday night Ryan spiked his hair and put on his cool shades. The scarf is compliments of Aunt Jessie!! :-) Leah got out an old dance costume and did a dance/ gymnastics routine!! It is a lot of fun to watch them and they love to show off!!

Grandma's 90th Birthday Party

This weekend was my Grandma's 90th birthday party. The kids and I along with Mom & Dad and Tim, Jessie and the boys made it down to the party on Sunday. It was great to see everyone and catch up with some cousins that I haven't seen in a while. We all wore our Gresham Pellet Stove t-shirts. Each family was to wear matching shirts. Some were very creative and others picked a color scheme. Grandma's cake was a scrabble theme - which fits her perfectly!!

We found a Frog!!

We were at Tim & Jessie's old house helping them pack up and such. Rugby, Riley, Ryan and Leah were all running around playing. They were so excited to show us the frog that they found. Rugby was sure that they should take it back to their new house and keep it for a pet. They made it a home in the little pool. Leah thought that leaves would make great lily pads! They also added some wood blocks for it to sit on. Unfortunatly the little frog didn't make it.....the kids all miss their pet frog.

Fun at the Zoo

We had a fun day Friday afternoon. We went with some friends from work and their kids to the NEW Zoo. We discovered that late afternoon was a perfect. Almost all of the animals were out and active. The bears were out wandering around, the tigers were wrestleing with each other, the ground hogs were playing, the moose was out as well as the penguins. We also got to see the new giraffes which were quite active as they were about to eat. All the kids really enjoyed being able to easily see the animals.

Fun at the Park

Ryan and Leah love to ride their bikes to the parks near our house. We live right on a bike trail so it works out well. Almost every night they get out their bikes and away we go. This was taken a couple of weeks ago before Leah got her cast off. Behind them is the "rock wall" that they like to climb. Leah's favorite thing to do is to ride her bike on the path around the play equipment and have me "time her" on how fast she can go. She will ride the circle about 20 times or until I get sick of counting!! :-) Ryan likes to climb on top of all the stuff. It's ok as long as he doesn't fall off and break his arm!! :-)
