fondue

Peanut Butter Banana Dippers: Fill an icing bag fitted with a small star tip with peanut butter. Pipe a star of peanut butter on banana slices. These are wonderful with chocolate fondue.

This was the comment on my Chocolate calendar....we will have to try it.

Betty Brinn

Yesterday was a little rainy out so I took Ryan and Leah to the Betty Brinn children's museum. It was the opening of Mr. Potato Head. After Ryan got over his "I'm too old for this place" they ended up playing for almost three hours. It was nice to spend the day together.

Here they are playing the big piano.
I got to meet the big spud!
Here they are playing with the potato heads. Leah played here for almost an hour.
Here they are working on a car in the auto body area. Then they went shopping at "Sendiks", did the news broadcast and sorted the mail. It is a great place for kids to spend a day playing.

Leah's fun day.

I'm a genie! haha Leah was having fun playing with a neckace while I was returning a dress at the store today.

She also had to try out some new shoes....
Then we went down to Bastille Days. There were many different street performers. This guy was pretty good.
A new TATOO????
Leah decided that she wanted to be like the rest of the girls in the family so she got a tatoo. It is short-term. They said it will last for about two weeks. She thinks it is pretty cool.

Boyscout Brewer Game

Tonight we went to the Brewer game. The boyscouts get to walk around the field before the game. Ryan is to the left on this photo.

Leah wanted to get her picture taken with Prince Fielder.
and here is Ryan with Ryan Braun.
It was hot at the game, but we had fun.

Holiday Weekend

This weekend we went up to Gresham for the big 4th of July events. Dad got the "new" 60 Chevy truck finished and I actually got to drive it!

Leah had fun playing with Riley catching frogs. They let it go "after it died".
Here is all the girls.
I was the first one to get a ride on Tom's new bike. It is pretty awesome!!
Uncle Tim took the boys fishing. They didn't catch a lot of keepers, but they had fun.
All the kids are waiting in line on the float. This year Tucker, JoJo, Riley, Ryan, Leah and Ava rode on it. The kids did a good job throwing freezie pops - they lasted almost to the end of the parade.
On Sunday we went to the pool, grilled out and crashed!!
